Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book an appointment?
The best way to book is by using our appointment request form on the website. This allows us to process your request quickly and efficiently. Please note that we schedule appointments up to two months in advance.

How old do I have to be to get a tattoo?
You must be at least 18 years old. In accordance with New York State law (Section 260.21), it is illegal to tattoo a minor, even with parental consent. We maintain a strict 18+ policy, and a valid State or Federal photo ID is required. No exceptions.

How much does a tattoo cost?
Our minimum is $350. The final price depends on size, design, detail, and placement. Larger pieces may be priced at a flat rate or billed at our hourly rate of $450 per hour.

How can I get a price quote?
For an accurate estimate, please fill out the appointment request form with details about your idea. We’ll consider subject matter, size, placement, and level of detail before providing a price range.
Once your appointment is secured with a deposit, you’ll have a consultation with your artist on the day of your session to finalize the design.

Does it hurt?
Yes—but in a way that most clients describe as manageable. The body releases endorphins in response to tattooing, which can make the experience surprisingly rewarding despite the discomfort.

How long does a tattoo take to heal?
Initial healing typically takes 1–2 weeks, though full skin regeneration can take 2–3 months. Healing time varies depending on individual skin type and condition.

How do I care for my new tattoo?
Your artist will provide specific aftercare instructions tailored to their method. It’s important to follow their guidance to ensure the best possible healing and long-term result.

Do I need to leave a deposit to schedule an appointment?
Yes. Deposits are required to secure all bookings. The deposit amount depends on the tattoo design and will be applied toward the final price. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

How should I prepare for my tattoo?
Eat a full meal beforehand and stay well-hydrated. Avoid alcohol the night before your appointment, as it can increase bleeding and affect pigment retention. We also recommend getting plenty of rest. During your session, stay calm and relaxed—you are in good hands.
